VETERINARY SERVICES

 

Rocky Creek Veterinary Service is a large animal, predominantly dairy, practice providing service primarily in the Piedmont area of North Carolina.

Currently we have three veterinarians on staff, Dr. Ben A. Shelton, Dr. Truman Sanner and Dr. Jay Moore. Dr. Shelton, graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1981 and has been in practice since that date. Dr. Sanner joined the firm in 2005 when he graduated from Virginia Tech. Along with his regular practice, he runs our microbiology lab. Dr. Moore joined the practice in 2006 and is a graduate of North Carolina State University. He also runs our Bio-pryn/BVD lab and is helping our practice to branch out into the equine field.

Some of the services offered by Rocky Creek Veterinary Service are:

• Herd health, reproduction and consulting
• Complete microbiology lab for all milk culturing needs
• Bio-pryn lab (pregnancy testing by blood sample) Embryo transfer
• A pharmacy capable of handling all pharmaceutical and biologic needs for your operation
